Eva Green

Background

Born in Paris to actress Marlene Jobert, Green trained at the Saint-Paul drama school and Webber Douglas Academy in London. Her screen debut was Bernardo Bertolucci’s “The Dreamers” (2003).

Career

Ridley Scott cast her in “Kingdom of Heaven” (2005), and she became a global star as Vesper Lynd opposite Daniel Craig in “Casino Royale” (2006). She later led Showtime’s gothic series “Penny Dreadful”.

Style

Green is recognized for choosing eccentric and tragic roles, often opposite Tim Burton or Eva Husson. She typically performs in English and French and lives largely outside the publicity circuit.
