Origins

Audi was founded on July 16, 1909, by August Horch in Zwickau, Germany. The name Audi is the Latin translation of Horch, meaning “hear.” The four-ring logo represents the 1932 merger of Audi, DKW, Horch, and Wanderer into Auto Union.
