Born in Los Angeles, Felix began competing internationally in 2003 and won silver in the 200m at the 2004 Athens Olympics at age 18.
Career
She won 200m gold at the 2012 London Olympics and 400m gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She added 4x100m and 4x400m relay golds at multiple Games. At Tokyo 2020 she won her 11th Olympic medal, surpassing Carl Lewis. She retired after the 2022 World Championships.
