Origins
Reebok was founded in 1958 in Bolton, England by Joe and Jeff Foster, as a subsidiary of their grandfather’s earlier shoemaking business J.W. Foster and Sons. The name comes from an African antelope.

Reebok produces running, training, classics, and lifestyle footwear and apparel. Famous models include the Reebok Classic Leather, the Club C, the Pump basketball shoe, and the InstaPump Fury.
Operations
Adidas owned Reebok from 2005 to 2022, after which Authentic Brands Group acquired the brand. Reebok is now operated from Boston, Massachusetts.
