A 2000 American neo-noir psychological thriller written and directed by Christopher Nolan about a man with anterograde amnesia hunting the men he believes murdered his wife.

Newmarket Films released Memento in October 2000 in Venice and in March 2001 in the United States. Christopher Nolan adapted the screenplay from a short story by his brother Jonathan Nolan. Guy Pearce starred as Leonard Shelby, with Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano.
