Background

Born Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite in Gama, Brazil, Kaka started his senior career at Sao Paulo before moving to AC Milan in 2003.

Career

He spent six seasons at Milan, winning the Champions League in 2007 and finishing as the tournament’s top scorer. He moved to Real Madrid in 2009 for a then-record fee and later returned to Milan and joined Orlando City. He retired in 2017.

A tall attacking midfielder, Kaka combined sprint speed, long-range shooting, and ball-carrying through midfield, often beginning attacks deep and finishing them in the box.
