Klipsch was founded in 1946 by Paul W. Klipsch in Hope, Arkansas. The Klipschorn corner loudspeaker, designed in 1946, has been in continuous production ever since, making it one of the longest-produced speakers in the world.

Klipsch makes home theater, bookshelf, floor-standing, and in-wall speakers, as well as soundbars, subwoofers, headphones, and cinema audio systems. Iconic models include the Klipschorn, Heresy, La Scala, and Cornwall.

Operations

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Klipsch was acquired in 2011 by Audiovox, now Voxx International, which has continued to operate the brand alongside its other consumer audio businesses.
