Born Quinton Ramone Jackson in Memphis, Tennessee, he began his MMA career in 1999 and gained early prominence in Japan’s Pride Fighting Championships.
Career
He moved to the UFC in 2007 and won the Light Heavyweight title in his second fight against Chuck Liddell. He defended it once before losing to Forrest Griffin in 2008. He later returned to Bellator MMA.
