NBA 2K23 brought back the Michael Jordan Challenge, with 15 hand-crafted recreations of MJ’s most iconic games. The MyCareer storyline followed an aspiring player splitting time between courts in the city and on a luxury cruise ship.

The shot meter received its annual rework, with rhythm-based timing for each player’s signature jumper. ProPLAY brought real NBA-broadcast animations into MyTeam matchups.
