Concept
Built for the Nintendo DS, Sonic Rush uses both screens to display vertical action across loops, vines, and floating platforms. Boost gauges fill with rings and trick combos, letting Sonic rush at top speed through stages.
Story
Princess Blaze the Cat arrives from a parallel dimension to recover the seven Sol Emeralds before Dr. Eggman Nega can use them. Sonic helps Blaze restore the gems and protect both worlds.
Legacy
Sonic Rush sold strongly on the DS and launched Blaze as a recurring Sonic ally. Its 2007 sequel Sonic Rush Adventure expanded the boost mechanic into a seafaring exploration template.
